I'm moving back home in a couple of months so I've been cataloging my clothes dividing them into "keep", "sell" and "give to charity".
The ones for sale are going to be put up on a new blog address called Shop TWP and they are basically clothes and accessories that are brand new or pre-loved but in fantastic condition. The ones that don't go up on the site will be sold off in a wardrobe sale when I get back to Lagos in July.
Lord knows it'll be a miracle if I ever get it off the ground even because I'm a renowned hoarder, I can save stuff for years. At my last wardrobe sale I actually cried when my things were getting sold off.
I think I like clothes and bags more than I like people sometimes :)
The long and short of this fabulously cool story I'm telling is that I discovered these jeans I'm wearing in the pictures below when I was rummaging through the piles of stuff I have stashed all over my flat, I haven't seen them in years. They were regular old skinny jeans that I ripped and frayed myself a few years ago and haven't worn in yonks.
LOVE them still.
Overlook my Blue Steel, I wasn't pissed or nothing but dark lippie and ripped jeans don't really go with wide toothy grins.

On a completely unrelated note, anyone on here watch Basketball Wives Miami? Like, what do you guys think about the foolywang going on this season with Evelyn and Tami tapping into their inner teenage bully week after week. I don't even want to get into the hot mess to the power of a thousand that's Evelyn's ratchet ass assistant Nia. I can't lie I'm one of the people that loves the drama all these reality shows bring but all this season I've been cringing watching Tami and Evelyn gang up on Jennifer, all because she doesn't want to be friends with them anymore. Until I started watching these shows I had this idea in my head of grown women being all serene and regal and only bothered with taking care of their families but they've taught me that women never grow up. We're all still teenagers in secondary school, with all the gossiping, back-biting and bullying.
Ridiculous.
I'm not so mad that I'll go sign the petition to get Eve & Ocho from airing in September though, looking forward to seeing Evelyn make a bigger fool of herself :)

i totally agree with you on basketball wives,gaad!!! the foolery!!! tami is talking about how they dont sue people where she comes from,but she was going to sue evelyn for defamation with the 't-shirts' issue last season..and eve too such a hypocrite,she used to call royce a bum bitch season 1-3,so jen can't call nia a bum now? if jen's assistant slapped evelyn..the case will be different and wayyyy bigger..she would raise hell and high water and say things worse than bum bitch/2 bedroom apt..sigh!!!..i just read on TMZ today that vh1 producers are suing Jen,lol..this issue is going left real quick..Long Rant...

VH1 is suing Jen? Why? Dang I need to get to TMZ asap, that's insane. They put her in situations where she gets assaulted repeatedly and she still gets sued? Ridiculous. Eve actually used to be my favourite but everytime she opens her mouth she just pisses me off. That "bum bitch" nonsense was so hypocritical, she says it so much its practically a catch-phrase now but when Jen uses it its a problem, silly ass woman.

ReplyDeleteLol, don't know where this popular misconception sprung from that I'm so tiny. I'm 6 feet, size 10 and my statistics are 34-25-42. Faarrrr from tiny trust me. Sometimes when the going gets rough I even wear size 12.

ReplyDeleteNia needs to go to jail, like Jen shouldn't back down from that lawsuit. They must all get their just desserts. If Evelyn had hit Kenya with that bottle she'd def be chillin in prison now. Tami just wants to be in the "circle" so bad she'll repress her natural caring instincts. She and Evelyn have become a kind of bullying tag team and their personalities are so large they just swallow up everyone elses.

Deletemy gosh, evelyn's is a prime example of beautiful outside with the ugliest interior; she is such a hypocrite *rewinds* to season 1 when evelyn was judging royce on the way she dresses and the loubs and herve she DIDN'T have so why is evelyn beefing jen for "keeping it 100 bougie" & saying it like it is, jen is probably above bourgeoisie so I am pretty sure she wasn't squatting indefinitely in Harlem...she could stay upper east side a la Blair Waldorf if she wanted to; people need to leave Jen alone, she is a much better person without Evelyn controlling her & yes Nia needs to aspire to being more than just Evelyn's assistant.
