Wore this out initially for a 2 year old birthday party but after consulting with Himself and endless self-examination, decided to respect myself and went back to change into a pair of jeans.
I didn't want to be that girl at a kids party that all the mothers were side-eyeing.
Oh and btw, new huuurrrr
Zara blazer; H&M tank and boyfriend shorts; H&M neckpiece; Louis Vuitton Brea MM; Salvatore Ferragamo Varina bow flats; Dolce & Gabbana aviators
This hair makes me want to wear a dashiki, listen to India Arie and eat tofu :)
Love and light xx
hahaha**girl at a kids party" lol! love ur hair :D

Loool, you know. They'll all be like who's this hussy?
DeleteYour comments about the 2 year old's birthday party and the mothers side-eyeing you made me laugh. Had the same dilemma a week or so ago when I went to a 3 year old's birthday party. Eventually went with a respectable knee length floral number and pumps. Boy did I wish I had worn jeans. Playing with the kids (dancing, pony rides and feeding weird animals) and knee length dresses don't mix LOL. Lesson learnt. You look hot as always and I love the hair.
ReplyDeleteI don't even want wahala nne, I just respected myself right quick. Plus I didn't know too many people there, way easier for me to make a bad impression.
Delete*wear a dashiki and eat tofu*
ReplyDeletenow that's funny. love the hair!
U r very funny , am very conscious of that too when I go for event ! I want d jacket plssssde

DeleteI'm usually not very conscious, I wear anything but within the realms of acceptable taste though.

Women should always listen to men. You have nice legs.

ReplyDeleteDaks you should have worn it jare! Lots of mums (including myself) wear short shorts to kiddies parties, and i am not even slender. Infact, verrrryy far from being slender! *hides face*......... anyhoo, you look great as always:)
ReplyDeleteSisi'm it was a party where I didn't know too many people, I didn't even want the stress. Lemme just respect myself biko.

DeleteNice outfit, lovely long legs and the new hairstyle suits u o! On a serious note now, did u really changed to jeans? The shorts are so appropriate for kiddies befdays or afternoon braais/bbq na! Chei, see mummies see side-eyeing wahala! Na true talk abi?
ReplyDeleteAnyway, maybe I'm seeing things from a Xhosa/Southy perspective..
Manto (Cape Town)

DeleteLol, I did o. I htought they were initially but remembering how judgy Nigerians are, decided to just respect myself.
You guys say "wahala" too in SA? Fascinating.
I totally get what you mean. The phrase is "Look, a husband-eater is on the prowl". And such looks, sometimes, makes one feel quite uncomfortable.
ReplyDeleteLove the hair!
Do you understand?? Lmao
Deletelove the hair, what hair is it if you don't mind me asking been looking for very curly hair
ReplyDeleteDon't know what hair it is o, the girl that did it bought the hair for me.

you look great, you should smile more often. Its rly dashing.
ReplyDeleteYou think? Ok I will :)
DeleteYou look great, but i reckon the outfit would have been too much for a 2yr old bday party
ReplyDeleteLoving the hair - Is it a weave at the back and braids in front? or just full braids? and what hair type please?
Thanks
Really? Ah well, discerning opinions.
DeleteIts a weave at the back, I just hada bit at the front braided. Don't know the name of the weave, the girl that does my hair sells it.
You look really nice. I love your outfit.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteI like your name. Kashmoney, lol.
Love the look. Though, I agree, not appropriate for a kids party. Lovely hair.
