White Story

My Easter was so chill, I'm wondering how on earth I'm going to be able to get back in the swing of things on Tuesday.

Spent most of Good Friday in church and observed sacred silence till Easter Sunday so my weekend was spent mostly at home reading and refereeing my younger siblings who were home for the holidays.

Popped out for a bit to have dinner and decided to go super casual in a white button down and jeans, giving them Audrey and Jackie simultaneously, then last minute knotted the shirt a la Brooke Shields.

Charles Tyrwhitt mens shirt; Topshop jeans; Prada Saffiano bag; ASOS ankle strap pumps

Oh yeah and I had my hair streaked with golden brown highlights, every time I let it down I feel like a Girl of the Playboy Mansion. I've wanted to do it for so long and whenever I catch a glimpse of my hair in the mirror I do a little jig.

Hope you all had an awesome holiday!

Comedy Gig

Went to the Naija Kings of Comedy show this weekend at the HMV Apollo, 35 quid and totally worth it. I LOVE stand-up, whatever the nationality, like I spend hours watching British stand-up on Comedy Central. There's something about laughing uproariously that leaves me feeling all sunshine-ey on the inside.

Before I left home I tried my hand at taking my picture myself using the timer thingamajig on my camera. Not sure I'll be doing it much I felt like a right boob grinning at the camera even though no-one else was around.

Will have to keep pestering my friends to help me take pictures.

yay? nay?

Kimchi Blue woven slip-on shoes on sale now in both tan and white HERE

*sidebar, I am seriously in love with these Kimchi Blue flats, so in love I got them in both white and tan. So comfortable I've dubbed them my new airport shoes, necessary for those pesky security checks when you have to take off what seems like half your outfit. Plus it went down to 10 pounds from 35 which totally fulfills my Mid-Year resolution not to buy anything unless its on sale.

You can get them HERE

With my girls Erenma, Nnezi and Theresa

*Totally random but who heard the gist about Ochocinco getting arrested for domestic battery? If you haven't here's the tea, apparently Evelyn found a receipt for a box of rubbers in his car, she confronted him and he HEADBUTTED her.

I am still in shock.

I cannot imagine how that must have hurt, apparently she even had facial lacrations. He was arrested and now has a court order to have no contact with Evelyn. Some people are saying its a publicity stunt, but like the whole K-Stew fiasco I cannot see the win in it. What part of a stunt has you getting arrested, hitting your wife of one month in the face and possibly endangering your career?

I don't want to say Evelyn had it coming but she had it coming. She responds to everything with violence plus she damn near gave him a free pass to cheat as we all saw on television so this just seems like a lot of karma coming her way.

I bet Jennifer is somewhere crying with laughter, or maybe not, she's way more mature than that, but the validation she must be currently feeling.....amazing.

I'm definitely watching Eve & Ocho, if it even airs after this fiasco.

Sunday Flow

Zara boucle jacket
Topshop supersoft 'Leigh' jeans
Prada Saffiano tote
Tory Burch Aldelia ballet flats

Went to Mass last Sunday at the gorgeous Cathedral Church of Westminster......

I am in love with ancient gothic Catholic cathedrals and one of my greatest travel dreams is to visit all the major Catholic destinations in the world, I've already done the Notre Dame de Paris and Sacre-Couer in Paris last summer and St. Patricks Cathedral in New York several times. My list includes but is not limited to the Cologne Cathedral and Aachen Cathedral in Germany, St. Peters Basilica at the Vatican, the Basilica at Eztergom in Hungary, the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela and Cathedral of Burgos in Spain.....

Coincidentally last week was the feast of St. John Southworth who's the saint of Westminster Cathedral so a replica of his body was displayed in a large glass reliquary in the middle of the nave.

Had to light a candle to thank God for His blessings.

Getaway

Left the boondocks for the bright lights of Glasgow today to spend the weekend with my cousins.

Zara blazer
H&M tee
Topshop supersoft 'Leigh' jeans
Prada Saffiano Lux tote

As you can see I'm currently weave-less and I'm attempting to have my hair out for at least a month, can't remember the last time I've had my natural hair out for that long. My hair is quite long but it breaks really easily so any tips for dealing with breakage will be greatly appreciated.

Got into Glasgow this evening and I swear I've been laughing since I landed, my cousins are funny AF and I I've probably laughed more in one day than I have in a while. To compound the hilarity we went to see The Dictator and honestly, hand on heart I'd love to be Isla Fisher for a day. I need to know what it feels like to be married to Sacha Baron Cohen/Ali G/ Borat/Bruno/Admiral General Aladeen. We were literally rolling, jokes for days man.

Bob, Chiugo

Staying up now watching Youtube videos, we're currently on the JJC interview on D'banj, supreme bants. Gearing up for tomorrow night, haven't been out since February and I intend to party like its 1999.
