Daks Day 2015

Been meaning to post this since, seeing as my birthday was a 9 whole days ago, but my awesomest sauce photographer Alistair Englebert Preston sent over so many great pictures I couldn't pick one.

First of all....MY DRESSES...

I initially planned to wear only the black one but my friend and the event coordinator (QM Events & Design Management), Molly, insisted I not go halfsies and just kill them all. So I hit up my girl Sosa of Esosa Stores and she turned me into a golden girl...for free might I add.

Sweet July

The absolute best month of the year

Its my birthday on the 7th of July and I'm freaking out about it as usual. I don't know when I'm going to outgrow this birthday excitement but I'm hoping its not soon....I love LOVE my birthday. From the 1st of July I'm in an absolute tizzy till it arrives, and the glow remains well into the month.

July.....please be good to me.

Love and light xx

p.s. official soundtrack for my month is OMI's 'Cheerleader', not the Euro-trash version by Felix Jaehn that just got released but the original 'Cheerleader; that came out in 2012.

I heard this song for the first time last year and the melody just stuck in my head but I had no idea who sang it, then I saw the original 2012 video early this year and fell in love. I can't get it out of my head, its my absolute favorite song right, its such a happy tune. Like if I'm mad and I play Cheerleader, I'm well.....less mad.

Loving: Maju

So Maju has always been like that cool underground indie label, that has a cult following but isn't really mainstream, but in the past few months, they blew up like crazy.

I've bought two Maju pieces before HERE and HERE, and I recently added majorly to my Maju collection. My friend Zina of Style Vitae recently started working with the brand and sang their praises so much I found myself on their site one fateful night at 2am....my dears, it was like going down the rabbit-hole, I emerged in Wonderland, poorer and much better dressed.

There are so many amazing things about the collection, the quality, the originality, the affordability and the above par customer service......I wouldn't even know where to begin.

I rocked a few of my buys last weekend;

The Fiola blouse (with my friend Uju Offiah of Meena at the Iamisigo showroom soft launch)
