Elpis Megalio - Part 1

My opinion of Elpis Megalio was always that it was a very celebrity focused brand.

Seen on the likes of Omotola, Tonto Dikeh and Iyanya, I pegged it at that and didn't really pay attention to it until I want to the store one day and was blown away.

First off, every item of clothing in the store is made on the premises. Elpis Megalio provides bespoke, alteration and ready-to-wear services and they produce a new limited RTW collection every two weeks.

So they don't fall into the Nigerian brand trap of having one big blow-out collection a year with pieces still languishing on shelves 9 months later.

The RTW line is also divided into three; Elpis Megalio, Efosa by Elpis Megalio and Elpis Megalio Luxury; to meet every price point.

I just had to play dress up in the store and I spent an amazing afternoon trying on the most gorgeous clothes.

Location - Elpis Megalio 15b Fatai Arobieke Street Lekki phase 1. 08109490000

Photographer - Tobbinator for  TCD Photography

Styling - Daks/Funke Afolabi

Make-up - Beat By Daks :)

I felt so Swingin' Sixties in this dress!

I LIVE for this jacket!

The Elpis Megallio brand is not just restricted to clothes, they also make leather goods (shoes/bags) and accessories.

Part 2 of the shoot coming later this week.

  3. most importantly, ego ole? I couldn't help noticing that you said you "tried on the most gorgeous clothes" as opposed to "carting them away". Lezz know whether to feast our eyes and remove our minds.

    1. Lmaaoo, I carted a few away.

The price points differ; Efosa by Elpis Megalio is the lowest priced line and retails from about 5-12k, Elpis Megalio retails from about 10-25k and Elpis Megalio Luxury is above that.

So there's literally something for everybody.
