OOTD - Black Swan

It honestly wasn't my intention to channel a gothic ballerina of some sorts, was stumped for what to wear to work on Monday and as black is always a safe option I went for it. Plus I love updo's and whenever I have my natural hair out I like to show off le visage without the acres of weave usually hanging around it.

Check out my mean mug a la Wednesday Adams....

giving 'em face like Tyra, Miss J. and J. Alexander were right there cheering me on....

H&M sheer pussy-bow blouse; H&M trend high-waist full skirt; Salvatore Ferragamo bow pumps; Revlon Lipstick in 'Black Cherry'

A very convenient and infrequent breeze blew just then and as a result of my having no stamina I sort of moved with the wind and stumbled into fierce territory.

Lol.

I've had this skirt since 2008 and I remember when I first got it, I was visiting my friend Nneka in NY and after every day of shopping I'd come home to Harlem and show off my purchases and I rememeber her going "you're never going to wear that".

Well boo to you Nekky baby, I'm still rocking it 4 years later, best $60 I ever spent.

Love and light beautiful people xx

  2. I adooooooooore that skirt! Goodness!I will even buy it off u sef.
Your job is something else tho. Every fashionista's dream job. This is why i am not choosing surgery/ER or any other scrub mandated specialty...i am vain like that! There's no way im wearing scrubs every damn day to work for the rest of my life. I gasto be the flyest doc in the building.

BTW, Daks, ur makep is giving me all the life i need this early morning. I wish u'd do a tutorial on it.Infact u need ur own youtube channel sef....you have the personality for it. Doooo it!lol :)

    1. Lool!

It is o, most people are pretty casual but I've never been able to dress up for work before. At my last job I wore white and black most of the time so I'm really enjoying this.

I have a channel o but there's just one video on it, uploading videos is just sooo long. I'll think about it sha.

      Thank you!

    1. Lol, thanks boo

Its not easy o, if I don't put my hair in protective weaves it would be all over the floor. My hair grows because its not out all the time. Limit for this hair now is like 3 weeks or a month and it'll be back in a weave sharply.
